Recently I spent an afternoon with my sweet friend Melissa Humphries at Mia Bella Farms learning the step by step process of making handmade goat milk soap. Mia Bella farms is a beautiful farm in a secluded area with tons of privacy. The owner, Michelle Gasaway is a lovely lady with a passion for her goats and her craft.
We began the workshop touring her shop where all traci bairdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11727767148507920029noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7326991936586524815.post-27586883565959606682012-08-06T08:44:00.000-05:002012-08-06T08:44:32.977-05:00For the Sweet Tooth....FUDGE! One of my favorite things ever. I even love saying the word.. F U D G E. I most associate fudge with the holidays but I will pretty much eat it for any occasion or for none. There are so many variations but I think my favorite is with darker chocolate chips because I prefer dark chocolate.

Hi lovelies!
CHRISTMAS SOAP WRAPPER
I thought I’d design some cute soap wrappers. Just wrap your homemade soap or some from the store.
Cut out the printable and cut also a piece of wax paper of the same size. Wrap soap. Fold the sides.

Yesterday was “attack something that needs attention in my home Wednesday”!
Not really. I can’t possibly limit myself to a certain day of the week for house attacks. I must have the flexibility to attack when inspiration strikes…or it most likely won’t get done. That’s just how I work. Yoga has been a part of my life for over 15 years now. Yoga means more to me than just the Asanas. I have over the years tried to adapt the Yogic way of life. Meaning that I live in a way of positive open heart with the ability to see beyond the surface and continue to reach for the unity connection us humans share on this earth. I will start with the Dishwashing Detergent first. I posted a while back pics of this and gave a tutorial. This is a product I had high hopes for to really work as a DIY and I even tried a second formula and it was a fail twice. My dishes would never come completely clean. I love homemade salad dressing, but for some odd reason, never make it! Then, after having dinner at a friend’s house a few weeks ago where I tasted the most delicious homemade dressing that she just whipped up a few minutes before the meal, I got inspired. I was ready.

I think I thought somehow they would always be little people and never grow up. Time did appear to drag when they were babies especially all those sleepless nights. It's almost as if you wake up one day and they are semi grown up and don't need you. A very dear friend and her husband took Larry and I to a fantastic dinner Friday night. We had crab, lobster, grass fed beef and lamb. Delicious salads and sides. White and red wine and ended with chocolate cake and ice cream. I was content as a pig in mud. Thank you Mila & Lyle.
My birthday day was nice. Slept in. Enjoyed Starbucks coffee :)
